Fugitives Drift Lodge - Rorkeʼs Drift

Boasting views of Isandlwana and the Oskarsberg at Rorke’s Drift, Fugitives Drift Lodge offers accommodation on a Natural Heritage Site.

Fugitives Drift Lodge offers spacious rooms, as well as a 3-bedroom villa. Each unit features a private verandah with views of the reserve and surrounding battlefields, an en suite bathroom and tea-and-coffee-making facilities.

Enjoy a meal at the on site restaurant or relax on the sun loungers by the pool side. Fugitives Drift Lodge also offers battlefield tours, while hiking can be enjoyed in the nearby surroundings.

The hotel day starts from hour 12:00 and ends at 10:00.

Deluxe Double or Twin Room. Guests will have a special experience as the twindouble room offers a pool with a view. The spacious twindouble room provides air conditioning, a minibar, a balcony with garden views as well as a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. The unit offers 3 beds. ;
Three-Bedroom Villa. Located at the top of the reserve, a 5-minute drive from the main lodge, this stone and corrugated-iron roof farmhouse was built in the 1920s and offers views of Isandlwana. It was the home of George Buntting, who was an expert on the Anglo Zulu War. The unit offers a fully-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a bath. Free toiletries and a hairdryer are provided for your convenience. Please note, guests will need to go to the main lodge for meals and tours. ;
Standard Twin Room with Garden View. Offering free toiletries, this twin room includes a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. The twin room offers a wardrobe, an electric kettle and garden views. The unit offers 2 beds.
